Wanting to learn different painting styles and techniques, I enrolled in another class teaching abstract art, using acrylic paints. I also learned a lot by reading books, magazines, going to museums and galleries.
Liquid or Fluid Acrylic Art
To make these abstract paintings more interesting, I embellished with genuine Swarovski crystal elements and/or use other materials for variety, for texture and to make the art pieces unusual or unique. Below is a link to a short video of my abstract art paintings using the liquid art technique.

The following were painted also using only palette knives on canvas. Texture was achieved with the use of acrylic heavy paste medium. Other materials: leaves skeleton and Swarovski crystals.
Liquid or Fluid Acrylic Art
About 3 years ago, I saw a video on liquid acrylic art and was fascinated by it. I tried and it was fun, innovative and results were unpredictable. While pouring paints on canvas, marbleised effects are achieved. With this technique, there is very little need to use brushes nor palette knives. Rich, vibrant and smooth layers of colours result in beautiful abstract effects. It is also difficult to copy so each piece is unique.
